Advanced Servers for Mail and Web Hosting
Each regular Lucas Valley Cable account includes the powerful set of server options described on the Internet Products Page . These include several e-mail accounts and optional web space. Some users, however, require much more sophisticated capabilities including the ability to self-manage email accounts and aliases, CGI features such as a UNIX shell account, an e-commerce store front, and other capabilities not available in our regular service plans. If you have such needs, we think you will find the options on this page to be an exciting combination of our personal, local support as well as very competitive pricing.
How Our Advanced Servers Work
Each advanced server has its own IP address and custom domain name (we can register your domain name for you). You will be able to access the server via Telnet, SSH, or FTP and manage your own directories, logs, and CGI. For less sophisticated users, you will have access to a powerful control screen that will enable you to create and manage your server easily.

Additonal Disk Space
You can order additional disk space for your enhanced server in blocks of 25 MB. The monthly rate for each 25 MB block is $3/month.
Additional Bandwidth
In the unlikely event that your enhanced server attracts traffic levels above the above limits, you can request a higher bandwidth limit. The rate for each GB of additional bandwidth is $3/month.
