2007 TV RATE CHANGES

While our Internet rates have dropped for 2007, the costs for providing TV programming have continued to increase by approximately 6%. We have no choice but to pass those increases on to our customers. The following rates become effective on April 1, 2007.

MONTHLY ANALOG RATES

We recommend Digital over analog premiums. They have more choices, lower rates, and clearer pictures.

MONTHLY DIGITAL RATES

All packs are ala carte. You need not order the Variety Pak to order one of the movie paks.

DUPLICATE PREMIUMS

Some customers order a premium in both Analog and Digital formats so that sets without a cable box can receive a premium channel. Analog Duplicate Premiums are billed as follows:

TV Plans

Default TV ("lifeline" service) includes Channels 2-13 plus 98. These consist of 12 San Francisco/San Jose channels and a community announcements screen. Lucas Valley Cable provides additional TV programming as described below on a subscription basis. Subscription rates are in the left column--compare with cable rates outside of the community and personal satellite rates on our Rate Comparison page.

EXPANDED TV (Channels 2-90)

This $32.99/month plan is the foundation for all of our TVservices and also entitles the subscriber to lower Internet rates. In addition to providing a mix of quality programming, including local HDTV stations and DMX music channels, Expanded TV is the starting point for the digital options that are described below.

The following programming is included in the plan:

• 18 San Francisco/San Jose channels
• 2 Sacramento Channels (these are available on an as-is basis)
• 59 Cable/Satellite Channels
• Optional Analog Premiums Extra Charge. (See left column. )
• Community announcements
• 8 Local HDTV channels*
• 9 local SDTV channels*
• 37 commercial-free digital music channels (Some ATSC TVs or Cable Box required.)

*HDTV and SDTV require ATSC tuner capable of tuning cable channels.

DIGITAL TV (Channels 200-499)

Our digital packages can work with any TV set. Select among over 100 quality channels organized into subscription packages, or pick the MAX PAK and get all of them at a discounted rate.

Please note that our present Digital TV offerings are not high-defnition.

A cable box is required for each TV receiving digital programming. The cable box includes an on-screen guide, program information, parental controls, etc.
